“Taking Flight '' portrays scripts from the Quran in Arabic calligraphy intertwined with the grace of a bird ready to take flight. This painting is inspired by a verse from the Quran - “Do they not see the birds made to fly through the air in the sky?” (Surah Nahl, verse 79) delicately interwoven throughout the body of the subject. 

The print comes hand-embellished and signed by the artist, Hassan Qureshi.
